East County Youth Coalition: Reality Party

Reality Party is a video made for the East County Youth Coalition, a youth project of Institute for Public Strategies (IPS) East County. It is a dramatization of a teen party that is unsupervised and things get worse when alcohol is introduced (December 2018)

The video was filmed in one day on a Sony A6300 with a Rode Mic and limited lighting equipment. It was edited in Adobe Premiere, with graphic effects done in Adobe After Effects.

West Hollywood Project Infographic

Design and layout of an infographic for Los Angeles-based West Hollywood Project to present the results of a survey of the effects of alcohol consumption. (Created November 2018)

Characters, illustrations, and symbols were drawn on paper and then digitized in Adobe Illustrator. All data was taken from survey results. Illustrations and data were then laid out in Adobe InDesign.

Westside Impact Project Senate Bill 212 Infographic

Design and layout of an infographic for Los Angeles-based Westside Impact Project to present to the public about California Senate Bill 212 – Pharmaceutical and Sharps take back program. (Created October 2018)

Alcohol Policy Panel Flyer and Program

Design and layout of a flyer and program for the Alcohol Policy Panel General Assembly breakfasts. (Created October 2018)

A quarterly assembly run by the Alcohol Policy Panel. Orange dots, representing people/population, adorns the pieces of media. The background illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator and then applied to the document layouts in Adobe InDesign. The flyer was transferred to Microsoft Word to create a more accessible document that could be edited without need of design software.

Casa de Oro Alliance Fall Festival 2018 Poster, Bookmark, and Billboard

This event is an annual festival run by the Casa de Oro Alliance in their East San Diego county community. The background illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator, based on fall imagery. The poster and bookmark were assembled in InDesign. The billboard design was assembled in Adobe Illustrator.
